I Need a Snake (Project 1 of 3)

Context

Robbie longs for a snake but his mother says "no." So he uses his imagination to create his own snakes from a shoelace, jump-rope and belt. |

Project
|
|
|
|
Draw a spiral and photocopy it. Children color the flat spiral with a pattern of a real snake or an imaginary one, cut it along the lines, and hang the "snake" from the ceiling by a thread through the tail. |

Application

|
Small muscle coordination, copying colors and patterns, and science; prepare for this project by a lesson on several varieties of real snakes. |
